I’m a 37 year old mother who, after being called ‘Truffles’ by her husband and daughter, decided that I had been too ignorant of my health and too complacent in my exercising habits and it was time for a change in lifestyle.

This blog is my own personal journey towards becoming fitter and healthier, posting my training sessions and any healthy recipes I find.

I love swimming and was an active swimmer in my youth. I have done various sports in my time including cycling, swimming, running, hockey, netball, football and table tennis. I love sports but I love eating too. Trying to eat healthily is hard but I’m getting the hang of it now.
